Bald HILL Flat.

The monthly meeting of the Bald Hill Band of Hope was held in the schoolhouse en Wednesday, September 30th: Instead of the usual programme the Rev, J. Mackie gave a lecture on " Wit and Humour." The lecture was instructive and' very amusing and was thoroughly enjoyed by the audience, which was a large one for Bald Hill Flat.

A very hearty vote of thanks was given to Rev. Mr Mackie for his entertaining lecture. A collection was taken up in aid of the church funds.
