The annual meeting of the ai-ove club was held on Friday and Saturday last. Fine weather prevailed during both days and the attendance of the public was good. ALEXANDRA JOCKEY CLUB. At a meeting of stewards of the above Club, held on Monday evening, the accounts in connection with the late race-meeting, were dealt with and passed for payment. A statement tabled by the secretary showed that, after some outstanding fees are collected, the Olub will have a net credit balance of about £4O as the result of this year's race-meeting. The secretary's salary was fixed at £lO 10s. A number of those present spoke in high terms of praise of the able and painstaking manner in which Mr Ryan had discharged bis duties as secretary.
