CORONERS INQUEST.
On Friday momiDg last an inquest was held at the Royal Hotel,, on the body of Alexander Frazer, an emigrant by the "Duchess of Argyle," from Greenock, before Dr. Pollen, our newly appointed Coroner, and a respectable Jury. James Armour was called, and said that on the previous evening he was proceeding up Shortland Crescent, in company **ith the deceased, when lie (deceased) stopped to congh, and called me by name, I turned round and saw that deceased was bleeding at the mouth and nose; I then took, hold of him, and a man assisted me to take him into Mr. Stanhouse's the Cooper, where he died almost immediately after we took him in ; the deceased has been in bad health for some time past. Dr. Morris was then called, fat the unanimous request of the jury) and said that on the previous evening he was called on to attend the deceased, when lie first saw him he was throwing up a quantity of blood and within three minutes after he was dead ; he considered the deceased lahcured under a disease of the langs and the immediate cause of death was the rupture of some large blood vessel. The jury returned a vesdictof died by the visita* tion of God.
