10 October 1853 This is a document setting out land boundaries for McLean, so that he will know the areas of the land for subdivision for sale, and that to be retained for the Maori to live on. The boundary begins at Wareama, runs along the river from Mangapokia and on out to Ihutu, Tauokahukura, Tunateheuenga, Ihupiri, and to Te Rorokoko, then runs along the river and comes out at Kahumingi; from Kahumingi it runs along the river, turns to the south and reaching Te Mangakino it then runs on to Te Punanga-o-Purupuru, Nga Hunanga, Motuopuha, Te Korokoro, and when it comes out at Wainuioru it breaks and turns towards the sea, running along the river of Nga Tahuna, it runs out to Puairo, Te Kahakaha, Te Mania-o-torokoia, Te Umu-o-Kaikore, Te Ana Parera, Waihora, and then emerges at Wareama.
