RAVENSBOURNE BOATING CLUB.

Despite the tax upon Its membership due to the war, the Ravensbourne Boating Club celebrates its twentyfirst anniversary with a very satisfactory report and balance-sheet. It is naturally conserving its funds carefully, but it- has still found opportunity to make some necessary adjustments to its equipment without unduly straining its finances. This includes the purchase of a slip of its own, which 1 it is hoped will prove of great benefit to the members as time goes on. The dub has now forty members serving or having served at the front. Each member as he goes into camp has been presented with the Btandard gift of a leather money-belt. The. paper fund still continues to fill a great want by the boys at the front, as numerous letters amply testify. The amount paid out by the members' contributions, assisted by a few donations, is now m the vicinity of £150. The thanks of the club for donations and services are heartily extended to Messrs. H. B, Moller, P. Young, J. McPherson, J. MoLintooh, and T, Harridge.
