Mr R. Moore addressed ono of tho largest political meetings held in ltangiora, on Monday evening. The Mayor occupied the chair. The candidate's speech for the most part was on the lines of his first address, and hs references to the need for reform of the Administration were received with frequent expression* of approval. At the close quite a number of questions were asked, principally by Air H. Bovd, chairman of tho iTon. l>. Buddo's election _ committee, and the somewhat incisive replies given by Mr Moore proved that tho audience appreciated immensely tho answers. Mr T. Heney moved a vo'e of thanks. Mr Van Asch, in seconding, said that throughout the gpe-'ch had been dear and on straightforward lines, and tho fact that Mr Boyd had ass'etod to make some points strikingly plain was a distinct advantage to Mc Moore' candidature.
