THE FUNERAL.
Tho funeral of the late Mr T. 1. Joynt took place at the Church of England Cemetery, Barbadocs street, on Saturday, tho Rev. C. H. Gcesett performing the last rites at the graveside. Tho pall-bearers were Messrs T. W. Stringer, X.0., J. Hay, G. Helmore, M. J. Gresson, J. A. Cassidy, and H. l>. Andrews, the four first-named having been articled pupils of the deceased. The family was represented by Messrs T. A. Joynt, Christchurch; J. W. Joynt, Ashley; F. W. Joynt, l>uncdin; F. A. Joynt, Invercargill (sons); and J. W. Joynt, Registrar ot the University of New Zealand (nephew). A large number of telegrams and letters of condolence were received, messages being received from legal practitioners in all parts of the colony.
