PONSONBY CLUB. The season's opening club swim was held at Shelly Beach Baths on Saturday, when the 50 yards t-lub handicap resulted: — First heat: W. Clarkson 1. Miss J. Smith 2, Miss M. Farqubar 3. Second heat: J. Rudling 1. R. Moore 2. P. WardeD S. Third heat: H. Duane and W. F. Smith, dead heat. 1. Thomas 3. Final: W. Clarkson 1, R. Moore 2, H. Duane 3. Eighteen competed.
