NOMINATIONS.
Nominations ot candidates for the various electorates were received to-day, and the list can now be made up so ac to be pretty nearly if not actually complete. Up till the time when we went to press the following nominations had come to hand :— AUCKLAND CITY. The Returning Officer for the City electorate, Mr S. Y. Colline.has received seven nominations to supply three vacancies, and a poll will therefore be taken on Friday, bhe sth December, at the City Hall, the Catholic Institute, Wellington-street, Sfc. Sepulchre's Schoolroom, Symonds-street, and the Baptieb Schoolroom, Jervois Road. The candidates nominated are as follows :— Thomas Thompson, nominated by Thos. W. Doonin and Edward Bartley. James Wallis, nominated by James Young and William S. Laurie. William Lee Rbes, nominated by Thoa. Gee and William Beehan. James M. Shera, nominated by Harknes? Hamilton and Edward Bartley. William Joseph Napier, nominated by John Wilkins and John H. Hayman. Adam Porter, nominated by Daniel B. McDonald and John Fisher. Harry W. Farnall, nominated by B. C, Beale and John Bell.
