Transport was well out to sea i and there wasn’t a bit of land in sight. Young Joe from Back O’ Beyond was standing on deck watching the captain on the bridge. Marvellous, he remarked to himself and then repeated it several times. What’s- marvellous? asked another Digger who heard the remark. ' The way that bloke up there steers the ship '-without a signpost, bridle track, marked tress, or even a stump to guide him, Joe replied.
