One never asks “Joe” the time more than once, owing to the number of “gadgets” ,he has to manipulate to get a view of “the enemy.” When “Slogger” Murray asked “Joe” the time recently, “Slogger” remarked: “Is yet flamin’ watch crook?” “No,” replied “Joe.” “Well,” said “Slogger” “what have yet got it in the ruddy iron lung for?” * . * *
