This general is a stranger to the outside world, but in Europe people quail at the sound of his name. /. * * * Following instructions recently to members of the Air Force that they were to salute officers of the other branches of the services, one trainee from Hobsonville was seen in Queen street saluting a steward from an overseas vessel in the belief that he was a naval officer.
“ Dutch courage ” must be given a new meaning.
