Snow had been given a few days! C. 8., but wanted to visit the girl friend. • “ Ginger ” agreed to answer his name when the defaulter’s call was blown. He didn’t hear the call, and went up a few minutes late. “ Private Blank reporting,” he said. “Er — how do you spell the name?” inquired the officer. - “I don’t know, sir!” came theunexpected reply.
