On Monday evening, October 12th. a dance was held in the R.S.A. rooms for the Camp' boys, and provided a. final .opportunity for those leaving for the North to conclude their "affaires d’amour" with certain young ladies of thisbdistrict. and to Ltd adieu-’to friends who hove welcomed the Camp boys so whole-heartedly fro. .some months. ” , . , The d.arice-had been-organised to assist the Army section of the Rangi-

The . smaller . attendance was'probably. due to many of the lads deciding to retire early to-bed {in preparation for hhe morrow’s departure )- and rough weather which put. rather a damper "on - tilings..
