HELLO FELLOWS—WELL, here we are once again to give T you all the news about ourselves. Our boys did not do so well with the cricket, as you will read in this issue, but that is cricket. One minute you look set, and then something goes wrong, and what a vast change comes over it all. That is what makes it so interesting. Our bus drivers have had to forgo their picnic. The last two Sundays selected for the occasion have not been too good early in the morning, and the weather forecast gloomy, so it was decided- to postpone it; but unluckily for the bus drivers, both days bloomed perfectly. To be up with the latest doings on the job we have enclosed some of our election results for the year 1945. Well, chaps, I am pleased to say our erstwhile secretary, Alf Burns, is now back at work, but he has to take things very easy. No doubt it won’t be long before he will again be in top gear and writing to you all. Our under-study for Alf’s job has been Motorman Dick Gadd, and tie has ■ been making a grand job of it. Don’t forget to write and tell us if you have any complaints about our issues. We welcome your letters. Editor.
