SIR,
Recently the Base Camp was visited by one, Sgt e Mac.lvor. One of his first requirements being, as he required somewhore to spend the night, a bedcot and the ’necessary covering. He duljry approached the A/QM and was promptly and courteously received and attended. •••*.♦»• • • o, even to the extent of assitancc to the Sgts quarters* Next morning the QM naturally expected the articles supplied to be returned with perhaps some sign of appreciation*: INSTEAD, tho above mentioned Sgt* decamps hurriedly without returning any of the above mentioned articles borrowed •* the QM having to collect them himself, Bor ha pa in a belated effort to repair the omission was the appearance in last week-s Loser-, dwst an article erring to the above incident® Tho A/qM when confronted with the article had to be assisted to his cot,«. *»*Ho who foaming at the mouth and muttering to himself* No wndcr most QM’s arc tough- for courtesy) apparently does not pay* J, Bruce, A/QM Base Camp* lbr comment see next column.
