Army Promotions And Transfers .•• - / The following appointments, promotions and transfers of officers of the New Zealand Military Forces are announced in the Gazette :— New Zealand Temporary Staff: Captain C. H. T. Skelley, Retired List, to be ’ Captain, and is appointed second in com mand, No. 3 Training Unit, Mobilization Camp, Trentham; Leslie Neil Mcllroy, to be Lieutenant, N.Z. Dental Corps, and is appointed Dental Officer, Mobilization Camp, Trentham; Captain W. A. Breach, granted the temporary rank of Major, while carrying out the duties of Assistant Quartermaster-General, Central Military District ; Lieutenant A. G. Melies, M.t’., N.Z. Dental Corps, to be Lieutenant, and is appointed Dental Officer, Mobilization Camp, Trentham. The Manawatu Mounted Rifles : The undermentioned Lieutenants are granted the temporary rank of Captain: A. B. Abel, A. W. Hudson, S. I. A. Clifford. Nelson-Marlborough z Mounted Rifles: Lieutenant (temp.) M. J. ' O'Brien, D.C.M.. to be Captain (temp.). New Zealand Artillery: Captain Ever-, ard Anchitel Anson (Regular Army Reserve of Officers, Regiment ,of Royal Artillery), to be Captain (temp.), and is posted to the 10th Heavy Regiment (14th Battery). ’ Wellington West Coast Regiment: The undermentioned Captains (temp.), Ist Battalion, to be Majors (temp.) : H. Johnston, M.C.,V.D: ; C. O. Pratt, M.C. ; S. E. Gilshnan, M.M.; Lieutenant J. Coley, Ist Battalion, granted the 'temporary rank if Captain. The undermentioned Lieutenants (temp.), Ist Battalion, to be Captains (temp.) : C. B. Lewis, J. M. Russell. Lieutenant and Quartermaster R. P. U. Parnell, Ist Battalion, to be Captain and Quartermaster (temp.) ; 2nd Lieutenant (temp.) F. P. Fawcett, Ist Battalion, granted the temporary rank of Lieutenant ; Alexander Stewart Ramsay to be Bandmaster, Ist Battalion and is granted the honorary rank of Lieutenant ; William Reindler, to be 2nd Lieutenant (temp.), and is posted to the Ist Cadet Battalion. Taranaki Regiment : -.2nd Lieutenant T. T. Murray. M.C., M.M., Ist Battalion, to be Lieutenant (temp. Captain) ; John Herbert Boon to be Quartermaster, Ist Battalion, and is granted the . honorary rank of Lieutenant; Donald Newton Brewer to be 2nd Lieutenant (temp.) and is posted to the Ist Battalion. Nelson, Marlborough, and West Coast Regiment: Captain W. R. P. Jaques, Ist Battalion, granted the temporary rank of Major.-i New Zealand Medical Corps: Lieuten-ant-Colonel J. H. G. Robertson, C.8.E., V.D., M. 8.-, Ch.B., F.R.C.S., Edin., Retired List, to be Lieutenant-Colonel, Central Military District (unattached! ; Captain A. A. Macdonald, M. 8., Ch B , F.R.C.S., Edin., Ist Field Ambulance, to be Major ; Stewart White Crawford, M.D., Ch.B., to be Captain (temp.), Central Military District, and is seconded for duty with the Royal New Zealand Air Force. The undermentioned to be Lieutenants and are posted to the 2nd Field, Ambulance: Charles Patrick Marshall Feltham. M. 8., Ch.B.; Desmond John Andrew Doyle, M. 8., Ch B.
