FOOTE BEATS HOGGARTH
Making his debut in the ranks of professional boxing, J. Hoggarth, Brunner, lost the decision on points over 10 rounds to Harold Foote, Wellington, before a packed house in the Town Hall last‘night. Foote used a powerful left to advantage and greater reach and weight enabled him to keep ahead of his opponent, who made an excellent impression for* a first bantam fight. /
