Souvenirs Sent To New Zealand An interesting souvenir- of the New | Zealand matinee held in His Majesty’^-! Theatre, Haymarket, on April 15 in i the presence of the Duchess of Kent, ■ has been received by the mayor, Sir Ernest Davis, from the High Commissioner in London, Mr. Jordan. It is a special copy of the programme, autographed by nearly all the performers. The copy was sold by auction at the performance, proceeds of which were to buy comforts for New Zealand troops and was purchased for 10 guineas by Miss Blanche Davis, Sir Ernest’s sister, who handed it to Mr. Jordan. Mr. Jordan has sent another similar programme to the Parliamentary Library, and this one is to be preserved in the Auckland Public Library. The 21 signatures include those of Sir Hugh Walpole, David Low, Dr. Merton Hodge Leslie Henson, Harry Rountree, Rosina Buckman. John Amadio, Hinemoa Rosieur and Colin Horsley.
