Thanks
Now that the “Observer” is completing its last issue, I would like to express on behalf of the Air 'Training Corps, my gratitude and appreciation to the Editor, Officers, Instructors and Cadets of Christchurch Wing, for their whole-hearted assistance in making this magazine such an outstanding success. This magazine has been run entirely without any monetary grant and all who have been connected with it are to be congratulated on their resourcefulness and initiative. In this last issue I would ask every Squadron and Detached Flight to take their full quota of the “Observer” to ensure that the final issue will enjoy the full financial strength it has enjoyed during publication. The Air Training Corps News and Information will in future be found in “Contact,” and we hope to have the help of Christchurch Wing Editor and Staff to make our pages in this magazine as interesting as they have been in the “Observer.” The inspiration which prompted the Christchurch Cadets in this publication is a pattern to our Cadets of to-day, and if this can be carried on zee can show the country that free and' voluntary Youth Training is something very much worthwhile in our peace-time planning.
