R.A.F. men are now getting, commando training— somewhat modified version. The lesson of this war has been that ground crews should be able to ‘ make themselves useful if their airfields are attacked, or if they take part in successful attempts to capture enemy aerodromes. The training is given to all new entrants to the R.A.F. except air crew. A
The two-ton bomb is known to* the R.AF as a “Cookie.” The new fourton bomb,; naturally, has been christened “super-cookie.” ! -
