YOUNG ABSTAINERS’ LEAGUES DOMINION SECRETARY APPOINTED
At the recent Annual Meeting of the N.Z. iilliance in Wellington .the Leagues, about which an article appeared in the June-July issue of “The \\ bite Ribbon”, have been taken over as the Youth Department of the Alliance. Consequently a Dominion Secretary of the leagues was appointed and we applaud the choice of Mr Alex. J. MacClure for this position, for many W.C.T.U. members recall his enthusiasm and work as a member and officer of the "Y’s” in Auckland when they were a thriving part of our youth work.
Write to Mr A. J. MacClure, 5 Wainui Street, Nelson, when any information, badges, etc., are required. It is gratifying to learn that quite a number of our Unions are interestedly taking up this work, but many more could avail themselves of the opportunity to have a Young Abstainers* League formed in their midst.
