WAIMATE BAND OF HOPE

The Waimate Band of Hope meeting on 28th April w r as well attended and enjoyed for its programme of instrumental and vocal music, recitations and quiz items. The chairman, Mr. G. Dash, contributed instruction on the dangers of alcoholic liquors, and was assisted by members of the committee, with Miss D. Joyce as pianist. Pledges were signed, and for recitation matter for next meeting there w r as a joviai rush.
