WITHIN THE VEIL
MRS. ELLEN CARR, PAPANUI UNION Recently the Papanui Union suffered the loss of a very faithful member in the person of Mrs. Carr. She had been a Vice-President of this Union for about 25 years, and at various times had held office as treasurer, White Ribbon agent, and Superintendent of Good Citizenship and Notable Hays Departments. Mrs. Carr made a point of visiting sick and bereaved members and was a fearless exponent of her beliefs in all Temperance and Christian woik. Although she was ill ferr some considerable time and was unable to attend our meetings, she never ceased to take a lively interest in our doings and to help in every way she ccfuld. We know that although she is unable to meet with us in the body, her spirit is with us still, and we thank God for her life and work.
