President’s Message
•ear Friends, With the time for striking a blow it the root of the most degrading tradt
in the whole world drawing near, arc we, as Christian women, doing.all that we possibly can to make that blow one which shall he worth while? Our beloved Founder, Frances Willard, gave us the key to victory when she said. “Enter every open door.” Are uc doing that? Are we using every opportunity that comes to us for Educational work, helping people to understand how evil a thing the Liquor Trade is, how dangerous to age, youth and all the in-betweens? Do not think that YOU cannot do educational work. “Wisdom cometh from the Lord, and it we are willing He will give us the right message and the right words in which to convey it. Let us use our giant weapon of Prayer and then go out and “Fight a battle for the Lord.” “He is with thee”—in thy service, He is with thee "certainly,” Filling with the Spirit’s power, Giving in the needed hour His own message by thee. Let us pray and expect that all Christian people will he willing to give and to receive His messages. Yours in the King’s ser\ ice, C. E. KIRK.
