TARANAKI EXECUTIVE MEETING REPORT.
The quarterly Executive meeting of Taranaki branch of the W.C.T.U. was held at Eltham on April Bth. The President, Mrs. Hayward, in the chair. Devotions taken by Miss Drew (New Plymouth) and Mrs. Arthur (Inglewood). Good attendance of delegates and visitors from all branches. All Unions urged to send donations, even small ones, to Literature Fund. Business of interest to W.C.T.U. was discussed. Mrs. Lilley (Stratford) read an article on “Church and Liquor.*’ Noontide prayer w’as given by the President. Delegates spoke of good work done by Miss Andrews, Educational Officer. It w’as decided to send invitation to Miss Andrews through Mrs. Mitchell, who is in charge of itinerary, to visit Taranaki. Votes of thanks passed to Eltham ladies for hospitality. Benediction. Next Executive meeting to be held at New’ Plymouth on 28th July.
