Dear Members, — Three very important items, under plans of work, were decided on by Dominion Convention, and the Dominion Officers wish you all to know how these have been carried out. (a) The Thee-Fold Promise Cards have been issued to clergy of the following Churches: Congregational, Presbyterian, Church of England (Canterbury and Westland only), Methodist, Baptist, Salvation Army. (b) The Statement of Facts, which is the Mainfcsto spoken of at Convention, has been sent to: 60 Salvation Army Home Leagues; 208 Methodist Ladies’ Guilds; 86 Methodist District Auxiliaries; 421 Presbyterian W.M.U.’s; 90 Baptist W.M.U.’s; 7 Diocesan (District) Mothers’ Unions; 18 Townswomen’s Guilds; 22 District W.D.F.U.’s; 38 Canterbury (local branches) W.D.F.U.’s; 12 YWCA’s; 14 National Councils of Women; and 2 to Dominion Officers of Council, Christchurch branch of Social Credit Society, Christchurch branch of Protection Society {Women and Children) ; aV. delegates of societies to the Christchurch National Council. Will district or local Unions either forward the names and addresses of any other societies they wish us to contact with the Statement, or obtain the Statements and be responsible for distributing them to organisations not mentioned in the above list? The same applies to names of clergy to be supplied with the Three-Fold Promise Cards.

(c) The Petition to Parliament. All local Unions have been supplied with forms, and more are available. The officers trust this work will be well and quickly carried out and the forms returned at the appointed time—July 24th. Please write direct to the Cor. Secretary, Mrs. F. M.
