Prince Edward Island still retains its prohibition law. In the island, one divorce was granted in 1931, two in 1935, and two in 1937. Out of a popu* lation of 94,(XX) only five divorces in seven years. No woman has ever been sent to the Inter-Provincial Home at Coverdal, New Brunswick, from Prince Edward Island, and two ot tin’ five magistrates stated that they never had a woman brought into their court.
