All other Unions represented. 18 delegates and officers at morning session. 10 visitors afternoon session. 8 Unions answered Roll ( a I and gave a Temperance Fact. Annual Report read by Secretary, Mrs. Webb. Showed progress in all Unions. Report was compiled from the reports from all Unions in the district; Napier the largest with 105 members, Mokutuku the smallest, 5 numbers. Napier Y.’s good report. Hastings L.T.L.’s lapsed. Treasurer’s report and balance sheet satisfactory; in hand £l2/11/10. Lady of Courtesies, Mrs. Robertson; Reporter, Mrs. Carson. Letters of greetings and sympathy sent. Remits from Napier and Hastings sent to Miss Henderson. Mrs. Chapman--Taylor gave stirring talk on “People Did Evil in the Sight of the Lord and Then There Was War.” One new member gained for W aipawa Union. Noontide Devotions, Mrs. Lewis, Vice-President. Questionnaires by members caused interest and knowledge. Luncheon, 12.4? p.m. Afternoon session, 2 o’clock. Devotions, Mrs. Ford. Flection of Officers : President, Mrs. Lewis, Napier; VicePresidents, Mesdames Hickmott, H. (iotTec; Secretary, Mrs Webb, Hastings; Treasurer, Mrs. Smales, Waipukurau. Supt, same as last year. Invitation next Convention, Waipukurau. Collection, £l/7/-. Closing Service by new President, Mrs. Lewis. Thanks to Waipawa Union tor morning and afternoon tea, and cars to and from station. Mrs. Hickmott closed with Prayer and Benediction. Letter of appreciation to Capt. Jones re no drink on troop trains; be paid for the printing on carriages, “Nb Liquor Allowed.”
