HE PLAYS THE VIOLIN.
The greatest track walker the world has ever seen. That is what they now call John Mikaclsson, the Swede who visited London to take part in this year’s national seven-mile championship at the White City Stadium. He made a new world’s record of 50niin 9 l-sscc. The remarkable thing about him is that he had never comncted publicly until last May. He never smokes nor drinks and keeps fit in winter by skiing. Prior to a race he plays a violin to put himself j the r'ght humour.
