SUPERINTENDENT’S LETTER.
Dear Comrades, — The Bible in Schools Enabling Bill is one of the measures to be brought up when Parliament meets next month. If we realise the hundreds of children who never hear Clod's Word, who do not know and have never learned a hymn, not even “Jesus Loves Me,” as is so sadly disclosed at Church Assemblies and Conferences, we will all be so burdened with our responsibility that prayer for this measure will take first place in our daily petitions to our Father in Heaven. We can take encouragement from the fact that Memliers of Parliament are taking a keener interest in the movement. (let “Hansard" and read Mr Harris's, M.P., address of last session. It will help you to pray with greater expectancy “If ye a>k anything in My name 1 will do it." It has been truly raid nations an strong and prospeious in exact proportion as the fear of Cod and Bible standards of right and wrong are hi the hearts of the people. So, for the sake of the nation, for the benefit of the children, pray in faith. God is able.- ours sincerely, MARGARET C. COCK. Dom. Supt. Bible in S( bools. EDI'CATION.\ L BUREAU.
