PLEASANT RE-UNION AT CARTERTON.
A Ke-union of past and present mcinhe. s was held on Wednesday afternoon, 4th inst. There were 50 ladies present. The Hall looked very sweet with flowers everywhere, small tables and seats daintily arranged around the room. Mrs. R H. Every, in a few well-chosen words, welcomed members and visitors. Greetings were read from Wellington, Nelson, Lower Hutt, T’etone, Masterton and Auckland. A number of apologies were also received. Musical items xcere given by Mesdames Millar, Hope, Armstrong. Addis and Ordish, and were very much appreciated. A dainty afternoon tea was served, and a social tine* spent. A hearty vote of thanks was passed to all who helped to make the afternoon a success. A very happy gathering was brought to a close with the Benediction.
