Almighty God, Who art tile Author of peace and Lover of concord, and in whose hands lie the destinies of all the nations, we meekly lieseech Thee to cause Thy abundant blessing to rest upon the coming Disarmament Conference. Guide, we entreat Thee, all the preparations which are being made therefor. Kindle in the hearts of Thy peoples a deep horror of the cruelty and wickedness of war, that so they shall l»e led to demand of their- leaders such measures a ; shall bring about its abolition. Direct the minds of the statesmen of the world, we pray Thee, that they may fully appreciate their grave responsibility, and may determine to do what in

them lies, to bring the Conference to ,t successful issue. Endow them with wisdom and courage and vision tha* they may fulfil truly and worthily the trust which is their’s. And wilt Thou diffuse amongst the nations of the world such a passion for peace and brotherhood and righteousness as shall AM them with holy resolve to hasten the tirrv* when nation shall not lift up sword ugainst nation, neither shall there be any more war. Grant this. O Heavenly Father, through*Tesus Christ our Saviour. Who has made peace through the blood of His Cross. Amen. HE IV
