MORAL EDUCATION.

Cape Town, S. Africa, August. 1931. Dear Comrades, — Our World’s Convention has passed, hut its inspiration continues and deepens, and calls us to fuller consecration of service. In our important IVpartment—Moral Education we need to emphasis** the true educational side. Remembering w»* stand for World Purity, let us pledge ourselves to advance the following: - 1 The Christian Moral Standard as the highest in the world. 2. The Home Atmosphere, to make for Ideality, truth and goodness; early training in self-control essential. 3. The easy, truthful, natural answering of all questions about sex, instilling reverence and reticence on this subject. 4. Preparation for Adolescence and Marriage. Inculcate that self repression and self-substitution fall far short of self-control and self-consecration, and that selfcontrol Is the highest form of cont rol. All we can do for the education of our young is possible when we are prepared to claim Divine Wisdom and Power. Surely Cod is calling our World’s Women’s Christian Temperance Union to take its place in the solution of many problems of to-day, and thus through Moral Education help to bring at>out World Purity. I trust we may press forward in this important work. Yours in Fellowship of Service. MARGARET SHKNNAN, World’s Director of Moral Education.
