SUBSTITUTE FOR BRANDY.
Tincture of ginger, aromatic spirits of ammonia (or sal volatile), chloric tthcr, equal parts of each. Keep in a well-stoppered bottle. Use one te.ispooti in two tableau oons of water for faintness, spasms. Aiurrhoea. or sudden I jam. Repeat, if necessary, in halfhour. (Sent by a White Ribboner who has proved its value.)
