AUTOGRAPH QUILTS. The Y.P. Conference adopted a suggestion that two Autograph Quilts be prepared, one by the North and one by the South Island “Y” branches. The material will be white satin jean, cut. into eight inch squares. These will be neatly ruled and distributed to “Y”’ branches throughout the Dominion. Members are asked to obtain the autographs of friends, written in lead pencil (not copying ink), at a minimum charge of sixpence per name. The girl “Y’s” will embroider the pencilled names In white stranded cotton, and, when completed, return the squares to Superintendent in charge. Miss E. Appleby, 28 Brentwood Avenue, Mt. Eden, Auckland, is “Autograph Quilt" Superintendent for North Island, and Mrs S. Smith, Maude Street, Teniuka, for South Island Please appoint a Superintendent in your “Y” branch, who will apply to either of these ladies for supply of squares, and return them, when completed, along with money collected. Each branch will be credited through the “White Ribbon” with amount raised. Squares now ready. To the work!
