Luring the year many Unions hav«* branched out, and a summary of new activities may be helpful: 1. Repeating pledge. 2. Scientific fact (good educative work). i. A piiointing visitors (u) for übsen 4 , (b) for sick members, (c) to get new memljen*, (d) to get new subscriber*! to “W.R ’ (Nothing like personal touch to win vote/ and workers). I. Appointing letter-writers to keep scattered jnembent in touch with business. Sending copies of “W.R*’ to scattered members. (Be sure and ask them to become sub scribe r*.) Roll of memliers called at ev ry meeting. Any memlier absent from two consecutive meetings (or three if Union iiieets fortnightly) to )k‘ upon by 4 he visitor for Jier district. ♦>. Inter-Union delates between Unions in cities. 7. President and Secretary (or other memlier) made round of visits. Result: 8 new members. a. Afternoon tea provided for foo'ball teams in country district, th«» Club giving promise not to allow liquor on grounds during match. 9. Church Parade. Adult Unions. Band of Ho|>e f etc., joining in.
