Dear Sisters, As I have boen travelling almost continuously since September 14th. 1 know you will understand why 1 lia\* been unable to reply personally to all the greeting and good wish* s which reached me on my birthday. September 21st. In the meantime, will you accept by very sincere thanks and good wishes through our White Ribbon Editor; 1 will reply in detail as soon as possible. Also, it gives me very great pleasure to acknowledge herewith the pew members who are my birthdas gift. They are as follows: Onrhunga, 2 new members; Miss Heaton, new Union at Makotuku; Hokitika. 12 new members; Invercargill t * nt ral. 11 new members; Tauranga, several new members; Waipukurau, 5 new members; Napier, 5 new' members; Waimate. 22 new members this year so far; Hastings. 6 new members; Havelock North, 7 new members and Union formed; Kiimeu, !» new members; Aramoho L.T.L., 46 new members and Union formed, Atamoho Y’s., 66 new members and Union formed. This is very far from being the total of new’ members gained sin** last Dominion Convention-—there are many scores more 1 know, especiall > amongst our young people, and it will give your other Dominion Officers as well as myself, great joy to hear of all your increases. Suppose now. that all l nions semi in this month, or in time for the November White Kibbon, the total increase in their Union membership since last April. This will give us all some idea of what progress we are making towards our 10.000 members in 1928. and of what we are doing to consolidate and close in our ranks for the 1928 C&nipa’gn year.
