GOOD ADVICE.

(Contributed). WHO COME? It would be most interesting to Know what proportion of visitors and inquirers attend our meetings. If only the same few members, then the meetings are more or less dull. Nothing gives more life to a cause than a little opposition or questioning. Do not be afraid of new forces. Seek them. Our W.C.T.U. exists to win women to that cause of Prohibition. 1? new faces very seldom make their ap. earance, there is probably Inefficiency somewhere. MAKE EXPERIMENTS.

If people are shy of coming to the meeting-place or have a prejudice against a person, why not change both the place of meeting and the figure-head? Try having the next monthly meeting in a public hall. Non-Church-goers are often chary of meetings in a church. Ask the Mayoress to take the chair, and get the brightest speaker available to explain the objects and methods of the W.C.T.U. Have a few dozen extra copte of the “White Ribbon” on sale. Why not organise a special meeting as above in a new district? Challenge attention by earnest, alert activity. The objective of our country freed from the evils of alcoholism should be a joyous inspiration. ORGANISE MOTOR TOURS. Why not arrange a week’s W.C. TU. motor tour in the country dis-

tricts near your centre? Make up a party of ‘‘live wires.” and organise a dozen afternoon and evening meetings, getting the co-operation of all interested in each place. Your faith in Prohibition, especially if your happiness and optimism is evident, will work wonders. Don’t wait for the enemy’s blows. Strike first. Get busy!
