THE SNOWDROP.
It was only a bunch of snowdrops. The gift of a childish hand; But it pointed my spirit heavenward. And s|H>ke of the better land, Of the Uity of God all glorious. Of that beautiful home so fair. That no heart less pure than the snow drop May ever find entrance there. !t was only a childish message, A message of Home, Sweet Home, Of the way to the lwautiful city Where nothing unclean may corn* 4 : Of the love of the Holy Jesus, Who cleanses the soul from sin Tig it into His beautiful city Poor sinners may entrance w'in.
Oh! if you are travelling homewards, straight upwards to Home, fßveet Home, Say will you not pass on the message To others who cheerless roam? The way to the city is narrow. But the heart of the Christ is wide. And He yearns. Ah! He yearns to welcome Each sinner for whom He died.
