NEW BRIGHTON Y’s. June 12th. First annual meeting, Mrs F. M. Mitchell in the chair, and the attendance good, despite adverse weather conditions. Excellent reports were read by the Secretary and Treasurer, showing a substantial increase in membership and a good credit balance. The President of the W.C.T.U., Mrs H. Hall, addressed the meeting and congratulated the members on their year’s progress The following officers were elected for the ensuing year:—President, Mrs F. M. Mitchell; Superintendent, Mrs F, If. Good; Vice-Presidents, Miss T. Buxton, Mr N. Campbell, Rev. F. T. Read, and Rev. J. S. Young; Secretary, Miss M Moses; TVoasurer, Miss A. Gibb; Press Reporter, Mrs Mitchell.
