Decided to hold a Magazine Social, admission is a book «r reading matter, to be forwarded to the Sanatorium at Waipukurau. for the patients to read; also agreed that articles aie to be made bv the members and friends, and will he sent on to me enttdrens’ home at the end of year. Mr Po.son In a short helpful address urged the Importance of each member feeling the great responsibility resting upon them for greater service this coming year. who will be coining of age this year, to cast their vote on the right side. Mrs LeeCowle gave a must inspiring and beiplui address, the subject being an account of her latost trip to America Euglarnl, India, und Ceylon. One humorous point was where she went to a fancy dress parade on board ship, dressed to represent Prohibition, and actually wou the Ist prize—£l—for the most original costume lier illustration from the petrified forest of Arizona, impressed the young folk with tiie imperishable nature of all work foe God, ami such is every effort for Fro* lv bit ion. New Members joined, and a fruil cupper concluded a very enjoyable evening NEW BRIGHTON "Y’s," Feb. 18th. A concert was given by tilt Linwood t’orp of the Salvation Army, to raise funds for the ”Y” Branch. The attendance was good, and the programme much appreciated. Owing to the Infantile Paralysis Epidemic, the usual monthly meetings cannot be held.
