LIBRARIES DEPARTMENT.
Would all Librarians please send their reports to me before the 31st De cember? Would they kindly state the number of books in their librar” the number added during the year, and the number lent out? I would also like to have a report of the number of books circulated from the Dominion Library, and some information as to the number of readers. When writing for books members do not always state whether they are for their own use or for circulation. 1 would lx* glad of information as to what use has been made of the Library. Some of our members are doing very fine work in circulating books in their Unions. I know that this is not always easy work, and I am grateful to them for the help they have given me. (Mrs) JESSIE FIELD. Librarian. “The Rocks,” Nelson.
