Dear Sisters, — I am intending to send leaflets to each union containing questions to he answered, and am hoping thereby to get a really worth while report of work done, to present to our Annua! Convention, especially as I have been asked by our World s Superintendent to send a report of NZ. work in this department to Headquarters, so please do your best, get to work as soon as possible and so have something to report. This is a copy of the Leaflet: (1 > Have you a superintendent of this Department in your Union? (2) Has your Union worked to put down Raffles, Guessing, Competitions and Art Unions in your District, and refused to join in any form in any Fete or Bazaar, etc., if any form of gambling is to be used to raise funds? (3) What literature have you distributed? (4 > Are your newspapers supplied with items against gambling? (5) Have you taught the evils of Gambling to the children of your Band of Hope, and Loyal Temper-

ance I egion? (6) What have the Churches in your District done by addresses, Sermons and Lectures against Betting and Gambling, and Racing during the year?
