WORLD’S WOMEN’S CHRISTIAN TEMPERANCE UNION.
Rest Cottage* Evanston, 111., August -Ist, 1922. Dear Muss Henderson,I greatly appreciate your letter of July 22 acknowledging tin* receipt of our many parcels. We hope that some of the material sent you tan he used in your big campaign, which we daily follow w r ith prayerful interest. Mrs Armor ought to be reaching Wellington at the close of this week. She certainly has had a long trip from San Francisco to Wellington, and with all my heart I hope it has been restful to her. Your New Zealand paper gives a list of the towns and cities she is to visit, and it looks like a big itinerary. 1 know you will all do >our best to take good care of this precious woman. Yes, we have a tremendous tight here. The new slogan of the anti-Prohibition fom places their victorj at the same date as our Jubilee year. It gives our women voters a good challenge, and we shall work hard to keep these would be nulliflers in the dry trenches for evermore. The propaganda of the "wets'' in foreign papers is simpl> diabolical. If Americans are eagerly buying up ho low walking sticks to take hark to the | nited J*tate*, for the .sake of carrying Illicit liquor, it is a good proof that Pits hibition prohibits in the I'nited States. With love and greeting from n. all as fellow-fighters for national and international riftUeousnoss Affectionately yours, ANNA GORDON.
