"WHITE RIBBON" REPORT, 1921.
The year closed w’ith 3699 subscribers, an increase of 121 for the year. Owing to the increased price of the paper, this number is less than usual. Last year’s debit has been carried forward, with a very small addition of less than two pounds. As the cost of publication was lessened in January, 1922, and is to be still further decreased in May, and thanks to donations from Unions and friends to wipe ofT debit, the financial position should be much easier this year. We have had many warm testimonials from subscribers as to how much they value our paper, and how helpful they find it, and these we highly appreciate. Our thanks are due to Mrs Judson, our Associate Editor, to Misses Earnshow and Mayo, our Organisers, and to all our "White Ribbon” agents, to whose devoted labours the success of the "White Ribbon” Is largely due. We desire also to thank Messrs Wright and Carman for their unfailing courtesy and untiring help, and Mr Lynneherg for kindly auditing our books. * May we urpe every White Ribboner to help circulate our paper? NELLIE PERYMAN. Editor "White Ribbon.”
