May 30. There was a record attendance of 55. The new offtcers took their places, and the devotional exercises were gone through. There was a letigthy programme of songs and recitations given by the Legioners, and the leader read a story entitled, “Green Spectacles,” the moral of which was that it was I letter to spend money on useless things that will do no harm than to spend it on drink and cigarettes. The meeting then closed with the Benediction.
