Since returning: from (’on vein ion, 1 have been corresponding in six different quarters, where hopes were given me that an Organiser n ight be procured. From three of these I have received replies that they know of no one suitable at present, but will keep the matter in mind; from the other three no reply as yet. If any Union or member knows of any one who might be suitable, please communicate at once with me. I am glad to report that the appeal made at Convention for Unions and members to help by distributing leaflets, etc., is bo ing responded to, as 1 have received re quests for these since my return home. Gb borne District Union is setting itself to work up at two good Maori Unions in their district this year, and 1 hope that other Unions that have Maoris living near will do the same. Any Union undertaking this work can receive all the necessary literature, etc., from me. Dear Readers of this Paper,Will you help me in the vast task Convention gave me for the whole Dominion. It is no less than to gather in all the women scattered about in lonely and Isolated planes where we have no Unions. We Wint to link into one great consolidated force the womanhood of our beloved country to fight the foes of God, Home and Hr inanity. It does not matter how old. or poor, or remote, or feeble a woman may l>e, by linking on to us, she strengthens our forces, and counts one plus thousands. To join us it is only necessary to sign the pledge of total abstinence, wear the. Mttle white ribl>on bow, remember to pray for our world wide sisterhood at mid-day, and pa> 2/7 a year as membership fee. Now will you think up. or look up someone

who has never had a chance of joining our splendid organisation, and win her for us. W • want thousands to join this year, ready for next year’s poll. Send me name, address and fee, and I will enroll her under our snow-white l>anner. It she would also take our fine little paper, "The White Ribbon,” an additional 3/C a year, it would educate her on the great movements of the world, and deepen her interest. This is a little work for God that you all can do, and would have wonderful results on polling day, and help to sweeten and purify national life.—Yours in .fesus's blessed service, BESSIE LEE-COW IK. 7l Hamilton Road, Herne Ray, Auckland.
