COST OF LIVING.
We do not profess to be an expert on this question, but there is one thing we wish our Premier would tell us. Why do we have to pay is 8d per lb. for butter? We note that dairy companies are making huge profits on their year’s working. There is no shipping difficulty to increase its cost. We want to know why poor mothers have to pay such a huge price for butter and the mcnev wrung from them go to pile up profits for wealthy companies.
