“BIBLE IN SCHOOLS.”
(To the Editor.) Dear Sisters, —During last year my name was associated with this department, and accordingly you have had my report in the Convention number of the “White Ribbon.” The discussion which took place in Nelson, and the* information given, made me re consider my position, and feeling I needed further light, I thought it best not to be re-elected a> Superintendent of this department. As W.C.T.I'. members generally, we ear nestly wish Scriptural teaching in our schools, but there are so many points to be* considered in the two schemes the “N.S.W. System” and the “Nelson S\stem” —that we need to be assured beyond doubt. Shall we not combine In earnest, expectant prayer, that all this discus sion and agitation may be overruled for the best interests of our school children, and that the Divine will may be made clear?- -I am, etc., S IST HR MOODY BELL.
